MBCF Names Jose Luis Villarreal As Head Coach

Miami, FL. (Oct, 7th, 2019)

Jose Luis Villarreal named Miami Bach CF first coach ever.

On Monday, Miami Beach CF named officially Jose Luis Villarreal as the club’s first Head Coach.

Miami Beach’s newest soccer team has a leader to launch its inaugural 2020 season. Miami Beach CF made the new head coach official this past Monday. Villarreal had a short stint with Jacksonville Armada giving him enough experience on how to guide a starting team.

“First of all what comes to my mind is gratitude, I am grateful with Miami Beach CF. I take this as one of the most important challenges in my professional career. I hope we can connect with the community through a well built team, team which we will work it as professional as we can under a strict and responsible regime”. Villarreal also shared through some sound bites: “I look forward to working with the leadership of the team to build a winning club, grow local talent, become a leader in the community and make our fans proud.”

Though his time in Jacksonville was short, as a player Jose Luis Villarreal had an envious 30 year old career with the Argentinian National Team and international squads as Boca Jrs., Estudiantes, River Plate, Montpellier, Pachuca and Spaniard favorite Atletico de Madrid.

“I’m glad and very excited to have José Luis as our first coach ever. In him, we saw a coach that brought success by creating a culture we strive to emulate. He has demonstrated leadership and hard working qualities in his long career as football player. He’s always had a winning mentality, both as a player and a coach, and most importantly, he is humble and dedicated to the works and the sacrifices” said team’s CEO Tony Iafrate.

When asked about how special he thinks the first year will be with a brand new coach Tony said: “On top of these qualities Villarreal knows how to create a team from scratch, he did so with the Jacksonville Armada, with an outstanding commitment to a distinct style of play and youth development.”

As Iafrate continued praising Jose Luis, he also went on the specifics how this team will work as he builds it from the ground u: “I’m glad we were able to sign José Luis not only as head coach but above all as a person. I want to work with humble people, the superego of former soccer players who approached the MBCF project asking for a position is not sustainable with me. Villarreal is obviously the opposite to that attitude. With little need to affirm this, I want nothing but the best for Coach Villarreal as I can guarantee we will all benefit from his presence. The club will, the players definitely will and if they allow it, the league will too be influenced by him.”

With recruiting experience under his belt as well, one of Villarreal’s first priorities will be to build the team’s roster and technical staff starting with the Team’s First Tryouts on November 9th & 10th.

Miami Beach CF will kick off their inaugural season as early as March of 2020. Flamingo Park has been chosen as their home field for their inaugural season.
